Natalie’s Story

I’m Natalie, in my 50’s, and was struggling to lose weight. I assumed it was going to be very hard, but I had to try something because what I was doing was not working. It was time to hire a personal trainer to help keep me accountable and give me the path that would get me the results I was looking for.

I got exactly what I needed when I paired up with Aaron “AC”. He is professional, encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable, and serious but also fun. He has taught (and continues to teach) me so much about fitness, form, function, nutrition, and the importance of sleep, stretch, and recovery. I do everything he suggests, and it has truly made a difference in my life and changed my relationship with food and exercise. I understand how to eat to fuel my body vs. just counting calories which was the “aha!” moment for me. There is a difference I never understood before. Putting all of that together changed everything and I started seeing steady progress.

In a very short 7 months, I went from 202 to 171 lbs. My cholesterol dropped 64 points to normal avoiding medication (yay). I feel amazing and have so much energy. The constant pressure around my ribcage which made me uncomfortable all the time is gone, and I feel so much better. He has also helped me gain the confidence to step out into the gym weight floor, on my own.  I 100% recommend him to anyone looking to change their life for the better. His guidance and support are truly priceless. Thanks to him I am living a happier, healthier life and couldn’t be happier!

Aaron, you truly ROCK!

Nelson’s Story

Hi, my name is Nelson, and I’m here to tell you about my experience with Aaron being my trainer. I’m 20 years old, and I first started working out because I was pretty overweight and wanted to make a change in my life. A concern I had was the fact that I’ve never had any experience; I was afraid to go into the gym atmosphere and get hurt lifting weights since I didn’t know any form, but he helped me with all of that.

In a little over a year, I have lost almost 40 pounds and over 13% body fat. I’ve learned so much, and I couldn’t be any more glad that I started training with him. He has pushed me so much to break my limits; with my form, lifting heavier, being consistent, and tracking my calories. That’s what I’ve enjoyed about training with him because he has helped me far exceed anything I’ve done. I’d recommend him to anybody. He’s a great trainer. He’s always going to be straight-up honest with you. He will tell you the truth; what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. That is very hard to find in people these days. Thank you.

Bryce’s Story

Without Aaron, I would not be at the comfortable and healthy physique that I am today. Our original plan was to add around 20 lbs of body mass to add dimension to my stature. Aaron took a thin 135lb-ish man and realized that plan – now it’s about bigger arms, bigger chest. The increase in how much strength I can bear is fantastic because I can feel like a more reliable person for friends and family when some extra stamina is needed. Sticking to a routine when life keeps things rocky is the hardest part of the gym experience, but it is also the most satisfactory when accomplished; it’s a few hours every week dedicated to you taking care of your health, and Aaron’s cool and focused personality keeps me on this track.

I’ve always appreciated that Aaron is a mellow guy that doesn’t yell to motivate and that he is a good communicator when explaining new exercises, correcting form, and can offer modified exercises for conditions like asthma. Overall, I think Aaron is a great trainer for someone who enjoys a supportive guide at their side and who does not need an aggressive trainer. During breaks in between reps he always has new videos of his puppy to share and he likes to talk about sports. I’m excited to continue my journey with him and see more strength, more determination, and more pecs!

Kerry’s Story

I’ve been training with Aaron for about 9 months. I’m in my early 50’s and when I met him, I hadn’t worked out in decades. I couldn’t even climb a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath and pain in my knees. In addition to being in really bad shape, I was also extremely overweight.  Over the years I tried many diet and exercise programs, but nothing ever worked for me in the long term.

Then I met Aaron. I admit I was a little skeptical at first. An older, unfit lady being trained by a young guy did not feel like it would be a good fit. Was I ever wrong! He’s calm, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to work out with! Aaron always checks my form and makes sure I am doing things correctly so  I don’t hurt myself. I’ve had a few injury setbacks along the way, but all of those occurred outside of the gym, and he’s helped me recuperate and come back better and stronger than before.

I used to be obsessed with the numbers on the scale, but Aaron taught me that being healthy, and fit is more than just about weight loss.

He has helped me develop a healthier relationship with food, and he has created a nutrition plan that has helped me lose weight and build muscle. As a result of following his plan, my cholesterol has dropped from 232 to 184, my resting heart rate has decreased from 72 to 60, and my blood pressure has gone from 137/85 to 123/74. I have also stopped taking the antidepressants that I had been on for over 20 years. Working out makes me feel good! Natural hormones beat anti-depressants any day of the week.

Let’s throw in a few more statistics. In the 9 months since I started working out with Aaron, I’ve gone from being barely able to lift my feet off the ground to deadlifting 240lbs. I’ve also lost over 50lbs.

Aaron has changed my life. He’s more than just a personal trainer. He’s my friend, my mentor, and a huge source of inspiration to me.  I’m still a work in progress, but I know I’ll get there and I’m happier and healthier than I have ever been.

Thank you, Aaron.
